Integrity Cell servers: backup nvram on core cell before replacing core cell

Cambiar celda en rx*640, rx*620 , cuando cambiamos una celda los datos de la configuración de la nvram están en la core cell de la Npar, lo que guarda son las siguientes cosas:

CLM (cell local memory), fpar, ,vpar mem granularity ,acpiconfig and RTC (real time clock) settings and the boot options.

Tiene cosas importantes como el tamaño de la CLM, que si es diferente no arrancan las vpars, el acpiconfig que si no esta a HPUX no arranca el SO,etc..

Por lo que, si vamos a cambiar la Core cell de la partición tenemos que hacer un backup de la nvram primero, lo realizamos desde la efi con el comando variable:

fs0:\> variable
variable: Too few arguments

VARIABLE -s|-save [filename]
VARIABLE -r|-restore [filename]
VARIABLE -d|-dump [filename]

fs0:\> cd EFI

fs0:\EFI> mkdir NVRAM_BCK

fs0:\EFI> cd NVRAM_BCK

fs0:\EFI\NVRAM_BCK> VARIABLE -s NVRAM_BCK_16092012.file
Saving variables to 'NVRAM_BCK_16092012.file'

fs0:\EFI\NVRAM_BCK> ls
Directory of: fs0:\EFI\NVRAM_BCK

  09/27/13  01:28p          4,096  .

De esta forma tenemos guardado en disco un backup de la nvram de la core-cell, ya podemos sustituir la celda, cuando terminemos restauramos la configuración:

fs0:\EFI\NVRAM_BCK> variable -r NVRAM_BCK_16092012.file
Restoring variables from 'NVRAM_BCK_16092012.file'
Variables have been restored.  A reset is necessary for

fs0:\EFI\NVRAM_BCK> reset
